Help! SO likes the name Oscar for a boy. He wanted to name our first son Oscar too. But we didn't because I HATE the name. It makes me thing of Oscar the grouch. He said he would use Ozzy as a nick name which makes me thing of Ozzy Osborne.
Am I mean if I don't let him pick it since he gave in on our first son? Does everyone else think it's horrible?
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no, his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me and did something else with an other girl.... and it's 10:51 am now and he hasn't texted me at all. and after he dropped me off I texted him saying what I felt and nothing. I don't know if I'm over reacting or what or what should i do. do i wait until he text me?

i finally let him do it I finally let DF throw away my foundations. He says I look better without it. He said he hates seeing me cover my face with make up when I can just wear mascara and eyeliner. He says it makes me look fake and he said he's not saying it to be mean, hes saying it because he cares. Im glad he's real with me. He says I have natural beauty. He says he doesn't like it when I dye my hair or wear make up because he loves my natural beauty. I know some girls feel as though that they need make up but they don't. Make up to me is just to do it for fun and sometimes when I feel insecure. Hes the only man that has made me feel beautiful without my hair straightened, without make up on and in my baggy clothes. I can burp in front of him, I can do weird things in front of him, etc. He has taught me so many things in the last (almost) 3 years and im so grateful for him. He taught me how to make pork chops and steaks, how to play some videogames, how to make white rice, how to budget, etc.

this is just my opinion and i am not trying to hate on your/so baby name but i agree with you i cannot stand thr name oscar or ozzy. if you really dont like it than find one you both agree on. my fiance hated every name boy or girl i suggested and i hated all he suggested. we finally found and settled on a name and we are both in love with what we picked

I like that idea. I just also really like the name Maddox. He gave in one our first son. But he also still picked his name and we ended up with Lorenzo. Which I didn't love but liked better than Oscar. I just don't know if I like Maddox Oscar together.

maybe compromise with him, have the middle name be Oscar. I can understand where you're coming from because my husband liked the name Matthew and I just didn't want people calling my son Matty for short. my son's name is Carson Matthew
