Yeah couldn't do the epidural my spine is too narrow . He tried a few times but these iv pain meds are wonderful lol.…

I told them I needed something and asked for options. I will say they don't take a whole lot of edge off in the final stage though. @mz_young but at least I'm able to get up and walk around my back is just bruised up from attempting to have the epidural 4 times basically. I'm legitimately traumatized by the epidural just the mention makes my back feel the pain and pressure all over again

You can opt for them instead. I was willing to try an epidural first knowing I don't have good history with them. It's called nubane works lovely! @mz_young

@mrsschmalz, it's called nubane it is my life savor atm lol

@mrsschmalz, you feel the contractions but it takes the pain in half and helps you rest/sleep a bit without causing nausea or anything

@rainbowbaby2015, I can actually sleep with my contractions now and I can get these every hour or 2 and it takes away my toothache. It's wonderful!

@brie15, I'd def recommend these over the epidural it's no where near as painful to get and works very well.

and those things work instantly lbs I wanted to try going without and epidural and just use those if needed but hubby thinks I shouldn't try to push it and just get the epidural

I ended up giving it around 5pm to get the iv meds and OMG they worked wonders, only lasted for 2 hours but the whole two hours I slept, at least I thought I was sleeping turns out my "dream" was just because I was too messed up lol. talking about my art project.! I don't even have an art project lol. congrats momma! your time is soon!
