‼️Question For Mothers Who Have Lactose Intolerant Baby's⁉️
- How Did You Find Out?
- What Were The Signs?
- I Just Switch Over To Soy Milk && So Far So Good.
@bianca_rose, I'm not sure if it's a sign of a milk intolerance but his pedi made it seem like it was from his reflux. He is now on baby zantac and gets it twice a day to help with his pain from it. Is that what your baby does?
Good I hope it helps. It was a rough few weeks to trying different formulas. It's hard to see your baby in pain and not be able to give them relief. My son still is gassy at time but nothing that isn't normal for a 2 month old. I stopped breastfeeding because of it and hated it. He's been spitting up a ton lately but isn't upset so I think his reflux is acting up again. @brianna.
Same Exact Thing With My Daughter So I Switch To "Total Comfort" (Similac). She Did Well, No More Of Her Food Coming Out Her Mouth And Nose At The Same Time. But Later On She Had Bad Gas, I Mean Smelled Like A Grown Persons Fart && Every Time She Got Done Eating She Would Puke Every Hour. Then I Switch Over Again, To Soy Milk && She's Doing Good So Far. She Only Spit Up Once And No Smelling Gas. I Hope She Feels Better With Eating Now. … .Thank You For Sharing Your Story With Me. @jacesterlingsmommy
My second son had the samething @jacesterlingsmommy baby did and I switched to soy like I did with my first baby and he was a totally different baby.
Is milk out of the nose a sign? @jacesterlingsmommy mine does the same thing and spits up so much
My first and my middle daughters are lactose intolerant, I found out bc both of them had problems with formula unless it was Similac Sensitive RS or Gerber Soothe those formulas I've heard lead to lactose intolerance or breastfed babies but I'm lactose and I found out bc they would have stomach pains after drinking some cow milk and they would be constipated. They both drink Lactaid milk..idk if my youngest will be the same but I might start her off with lactaid also since the other 2 drinking that
my son was diagnosed with reflux for one and milk would come out of his nose, he'd arch his back bad, spitting up a ton and cried when spitting up. Just not a happy baby. I was told to keep him on gentlease but I knew it wasn't right for him. He was so fussy, gassy, cried every feeding and always had an upset tummy. Since changing a month ago he's a completely different happy baby. I noticed a difference almost immediately.
