@jayson21_41 I would try pumping every time after you feed him. It will take about two days but pumping more will signal your body to make more since it causes your body to compensate for the extra milk. You should be able to Google average amounts of milk a baby (enter age) needs per day and it will pull up lactation Web pages with a good answer. I would just pump as much as possible so that you have more than enough :)

I am only pumping first thing in the am once everyday...

That's how much I got my first time! And then the next time 5oz and so I've been pumping no more then 5 oz a day! But I'm going to universal in 2 weeks for 3 days and I want to have enough for him in bottles so he can be watched by grandma....and I don't know how many oz I should pump

Everyone is different. The more you pump, the more your supply will start to build. I pumped for the first time yesterday and I only got 1 oz between both breasts. But I know my supply will increase. :)
