I REALLY do nottttt want ANYONE posting pictures of my son on their social media accounts! NONE! How do I tell his family that without sounding bitchy? Sounds crazy but some of them are friends with his ex's and I hate those bitches lol. I know they're watching but I refuse to give them a show. And I just don't want people in my business! I hardly post pictures of myself on social media. I enjoy my privacy.
@jesjeslovesyou, Yeah I think if you make it short and sweet, to the point... That would get it across without sounding "rude". Lol and of course people will take it how they want but you're the momma so they should respect your wishes! And I've actually heard it can be illegal to post pictures of minors without the parents consent (not sure how accurate that is but friends of mine who nanny told me that). So, there's that :)
@geekymomma13, yes mam! I'm going to be as polite as possible but at the end of the day I'm the only one that made this baby. My mans sperm helped too but I'm the one that's carrying him and have full responsibility for him for the rest of my life. It's my son. He's coming out of my vagina and no one else's lol.
@soontobemomof4, block the girl. She doesn't sound genuine at all!
@mamatobe8516, whyyyy do people act like they're the ones doing all of the work and carrying the baby? It's not their place! They need to stay in their lane. YOU made that baby without the assistance of any of them! And how do they even expect you to be recovered enough to go to a function like that?! Ugh! I'd be so pissed. His sister already asked for me to let her know when I'm in labor so she can be there but I only want my mom and man there for the first day. They can come for a short period the second day but when I'm home it's going to be me, my mother, and him! That is it!
my family does it all the time. I finally just asked them not to post picture of my son on social media because I don't know who their friends with and I don't want my children to be known to every Tom dick and hary.
Just tell them, I mean it's not like your just saying it to be rude, you have a legit reason and that is your child, if they take it as rude that is their problem not yours, but I understand you wanting to not come off rude at the same time, I'm having trouble now, with a family member, I believe she is sharing my sons photos on purpose or following me on purpose for her daughters friend who tried to split my husband and I up last year, I never heard from the women on any of my social media sites and she seemed nice, so when i unfriended her daughters I didn't think to with her but damn since about a month after I got her daughters out of my business, bam! She likes every posts or comments and even shares my shit, my birth announcement she is like my 10th cousin, so I'm pretty sure she is just relaying my information, because we were never close, never talked, her daughters and I barley know each other. I'm about to block her.
i know that all sounds very bitchy but i plan on standing by what i am comfortable with and whats best for my daughter. just keep that in mind while telling them
They already don't listen to what I say so I can only imagine how it's about to be.. They are already pissed that I'm not allowing anyone there the DAY he is born. Only for bonding purposes. And pissed that I don't want to bring the baby to the family reunion that's only 6 days after my child is born. He won't even be a week old... He won't have his shots, it's outside, and I'm not going to let everyone and their mother kiss him with their germs and pass my kid around when he's only a week old. It's crazy how people get so pissed over other parents choices and decisions! Respect me & my parenting choices or don't be apart of my kids life plain and simple because i am not playing around with that non sense. I am not the oneeeeeee lmao.
@jesjeslovesyou, im honestly contemplating taking his phone away or threaten to not let him be there, i know when the time comes he'll try and post pics even though i said no. anyways i know i dont need their jealous comments or them in my business. i know how you feel. just tell them and be adamant about it. and if they refuse tell them not to bother even coming to visit in the hospital.
@geekymomma13, exactly! It just makes me really really uncomfortable to know that they already have shit to say about me being pregnant and are way too deep in my business. Ugh. No pics or videos of my son at all! I might just make a private family page where we will share pictures.
@mamatobe8516, exactly! If they can't respect what I say then they won't be allowed to see him or take any pics. If they want to see him I'll have a phone bin ready lol.
(I won't say it how I said it but I'll be using your words lol. People always say that I say things rudely when I don't mean to. I'm just very blunt😂)
tell them. i told my fiance no pic posting for a little while. he has his exs and baby momma on his and honestly i dont need no ex or baby momma comenting things on my babys pics.
I love your wording! That's exactly what I'm going to say, word from word lol. I'm going to send a mass text and just let everyone know that if they want pictures they're free to ask me or him for them but my son is not going to be the topic of the day on anyone's Facebook or Instagram account.
I'm going through the same thing because my husband's family doesn't seem to care about anything we say already and he's not even here yet and they think they can go do whatever they want and say what they want already because it's their nephew, cousin, god son, blah blah blah. Like nah, that's MY son and I'll be damned if anyone disrespects me and goes against what I say and the choices I make for MY kid. It's so annoying.
Just tell them, out of respect for your privacy you'd rather not have them post pictures of your son on social media. I don't think that sounds bitchy, just your preference :)
I find it pretty hilarious how people who have shown their true colors on social media snake away, delete the posts that outed them and come back on social media like nothing happened. Why do that, you outed yourself, so stay out. We still see you boo boo...
Totally irrational so please no judgement... baby daddy is over for visitation and he took Karoline's picture and it infuriated me. I don't want him having pictures of my daughter. He just posts them on social media and claims how we keep him from Karoline and what a great dad he is even though he doesn't do shit. How do I get over this mamas? I'm really struggling with it lately. I just don't want him to have any part, seeing him with my daughter disgusts me .
snooping help I'm not good at it
So when my lo was born SO and I told everyone not to post pictures to their social media accounts. My sister agreed to that. But when she was a month old I sent a picture to the whole family through text(not everyone has a Facebook). I don't post pictures of my dd to much. Just once every now and then. And they are private to certain people. For safety reasons.
What's annoying you at the moment??
Girls who blatantly claim, "I'm gonna use my looks to my advantage" really annoy me, and people who post political things on social media, also annoys me!
I posted a picture of my son in the house in his car seat he had a snow suit jumper on n instead of people admiring his sweet innocent face they wanted to attack the fact that i didn’t adjust his straps yet. I caught a smile n took a pic calm down
@jesjeslovesyou, lol exactly. ill keep it polite til someone pushes me to the limit, then theres no holding back lol
