What was more painful was the fact I was too scared to go and ended up with severe constipation... 6 weeks later and I'm only just getting back to normal

It didn't hurt hun...from my experience :) Just relax and deep breathe and you'll be fine :) Raise you feet just like @holliesinead said...this is actually the correct positioning to do a poo X

I used his bath seat / toilet rolls to lift my feet up which helped massively having your feet off the ground and lifted a butt cheek up a bit and sat up straight it was scary it didn't hurt as much as I thought and to clean after I used a water bottle with warm water squeezed and cleaned using non perfume wipes X
