New to the group🙋🏻Hello everyone i decided to join because being the only pregnant lady in my group of friends (or with mom) i am starting to feel like my friends are drifting away. I know its normal, i know they have different lifes i just always thought it wouldnt be this way. It makes me sad and lonely! I was wondering if anybody else experienced this and how they have dealt. Its true @starting_over39 ! I know you are completely right, its just hard for the moment. Im sure when i get my little girl ill be busy for a while lol! Its also hard to make new friends at 28, but thats why i decided to join today :) to not feel sorry for myself and find other people with similar lifes :) thankyou again
@fredsmom88, @starting_over39 its true!! And you welcome. I have 3 children. Im only 33 so alot of my girls still party. I like staying home now.. Or i just get friggin tired.. Its so hard to get dressed up after a long day. Like who cares. If u where my girls I wouldn't matter where we meet up. Ud come visit.. Maybe go to dinner.. Ask if I needed help? There priorities are different. And of course it should be.. You single.. And free... But karma's a bitch as well., just sit back an take notes.. They will eventually have children of there own. Or want to start trying.. By that time ur baby is already born.. N well on its way. While the "single free spirited friends " wished they at least had someone to lean on..lol wait for it.. Its gona be good🙊
Some will stick around because they are hoping for God parent role and others back off because your life is shifting. Join mommy groups of all sorts an you will find new friends, acquaintances. I miss old friends but my life is changing and heading in different direction and conversation is so different, so I've learnt to cope and move forward with no animosity. Such is life 😉

Its normal. This is the part where you truly see who your true friends are. Keep your eyes open. And don't be afraid to let them go. Trust me. When baby comes you"ll be so occupied you wont need them anyway.
