Was supposed to have carpet fitted which we were paying them £140 to do on top of the £240 we paid for the carpet. So the fitters turn up not knowing what they are doing for a start. The older guy swans in starts mouthing me off because we didn't move the furniture saying "you haven't bothered moving a damn thing" I told him we wasn't told to move it. My oh moves furniture for a living and was with me when we bought the carpet and we wasn't told or he would have moved it all. He starts yelling at me saying you don't go into someone's house and move their stuff and what not being extremely rude and put me on the phone to his boss who reckons he told us when he didn't because we were served by someone different to him. I lost my rag then. I rang my other half he even heard the fitter shouting at me. The fitter turns around and goes I'm leaving get your other half to move it and I'll come back later. I said no chance! He's in work. By this point I'm in tears feeling like crap and hormonal and being talked to like shit under my own roof! My other rang the company saying he's disgusted and he wants every penny back so he's getting a full refund. The shop apologised not the fitters! The fitter even had the cheek to say that they'd come back if we moved the small stuff! I said no way I'm having him back in my house after that. Not going to pay someone £140 for bad customer service what the hell!!! 🙄 xx
