I just get my son his from clarks but he has special needs and funny feet so I always have to get them properly measured he's year ten in sept

It's mainly trainers these days, a lot of boys go for black Air Force 1 (Nike) or leather chuck Taylor's (converse) I worked in a shoe shop and around this time of year they would fly out xx

well Bills always had clarks but we went yest and there all except 2 pairs velco fastener and i thought was bit babyish? the other 2 pair was like his old headteachers he said and was 'no way mum' so im stuck.

but i love clarks shoes and the fit as hes a wide foot ! and how are you @suzie80 xx

My son wears the Velcro fastener ones as he cant do his laces bless him but he goes to a normal school with an asd unit attached and they all wear similar these days. So little choice I've been buying the same pair for the whole of secondary but there not cheap either 😭

well he has just got the new nikes 95 bloody quid later and says he wants to wear these but at the parents evening we was told strictly no trainers?! i just dont know! could try it and see if owts said? @harleighmx

Im OK @tg123456789 although like a bloody zombie swinging in my nursing chair today thinking I should get dressed as my mate is coming after lunch but I'm so dam tired I've been up most of the night itching again.

You could try it they always start off the year trying to be super strict but end up easing off anyway, I find that everyone starts to wear trainers as they get into the flow of the school anyway xx

Yup I am what I wouldn't give to sleep 8 hours and chill without running round after a stroppy 2 year old right now! I swear all I do all day is clean and run round picking up food and toys and hoovering repeatedly drives me more nuts as I'm pregnant I think @tg123456789

I've seen most boys in black trainers, brogues (which looks quite smart), kickers or these loafer type shoes I've attached
