you don't normally ask tho.. I believe when you pass your due date or are approaching your dr will do this

next day after sweep had my son

I was swept on a Tuesday and nothing happened that night. Then in the morning I had my bloody show. But my doctor still wanted to do another sweep that morning (Wednesday @ 9am) and by 12:30 I was in the hospital with contractions. :) Had my baby Thursday early morning ☺️

Honestly it didn't help me at all go into labor I had to get induced

forgot to mention didn't hurt me bc my dr was super gentle with me.

i did at 40 weeks 5 days with first baby Drs did the membrane sweep that morning that night contractions next night baby boy arrived. so glad bc I was already scheduled for inducement for that Saturday but bc it worked obviously not necessary anymore
