well I had one done today... hard to explain.. but if you have had your cervix checked it's a little more painful than that an last a little longer but once it's done I didn't hurt anymore. so far nothing has happened an it's been almost 12 hours =(

What year did you graduate high school?
I had it done with my son and I went into labor that night. The Doctor told me if it didn't work in the first 24 hours then it most likely wouldn't. I suggest if you don't have to do it don't. I've read that it can make your contractions worse than what they would have been. Which I believe I was in labor 17 hours and the first 12 I wouldn't dilate past a 5. Every body is different but this time around I won't be trying that.
