If your contractions are regular 2-3 mins apart but you're not 39 weeks yet will they just send you home ?
Yeah that's what happened with mine they random were happening for a few hours before they stopped. Did they give you any medication while you were there to slow them down or to help with pain? @mischell
I think mines coming to a stop. I'm 3cm and they were 2-3 mins apart. Now they come two or three at random.
They sent me home last week when I was 2cm and 5min apart they said if it continued til the next day or my water breaks then to come back in. However, mine did stop later that night about 3 hours after I left the hospital.
Well I didn't know I was having contractions. I came in due to high blood pressure. But my contractions are 2-3 mins apart. She hasn't checked for more dilation yet. I'm thinking they will send me home tomorrow if I haven't dilated anymore. But I think my contractions are slowing down an stopping. I'm just 38 weeks.
Absolutely not, if you're progressing with dilation they'll keep you. I got admitted with contractions 3 minutes apart at 38 weeks exactly and I had my baby girl 10 hours later. They'll only try to stop labor if your super early... Like 36 weeks and earlier.
I don't really feel them. So I haven't gotten any meds. They aren't trying to stop them or speed them up. They just wanna see what they do on their own for now. My blood pressure is the main reason I was here an it's gone down since I've been sleeping an everything has stopped so I'll prolly just go home tomorrow. I really miss my bed that's for sure. These are not comfortable lol @angelfish
