Anyone had problems with their gallbladder? They want to remove mine because I have no appetite and…

Those gallbladder attacks were the absolute worse!!!! I thought I was dying. I was so scared when they told me they didn't know if they were going to remove mine just because I didn't ever want to experience that pain ever again. They ended up doing the surgery because my gallbladder was so sick. It ended up infecting my liver and kidneys. Best decision ever.

Oh and the surgery isn't so bad. They kept me in the hospital for a week then I went home and went right back to work :)

@secret310, I was so scared and in sooo much pain. I didn't know what was happening, I thought I was dying. Was surgery long? I don't think I can be away from my baby for a week 😓

the surgery is worth not having gallbladder attacks.. my removal was a laproscopic day surgery.. I would have gone home that same night if I hadn't had complications that I had.. might not have you be in the hospital for a week.. @rachelle

Hey there, I work in an operating room and I have to tell you, Gallbladder surgery (lap chole) is an extremely simple procedure and you will feel so much better afterwards. Almost every single person goes home within a few hours of surgery, unless you have excessive nausea or bleeding afterwards. The benefits outweigh the risks!
