Hello lovelies!
I'm now 38+4, I went up to the MAU yesterday with RFM, midwife said everything was fine, heart rate was spot on etc, then she measured the fundal height and apparently my little one is only measuring at 33 weeks, which is strange because when I saw my Midwife last Tuesday she said I was measuring fine, I've got a scan at 8:30 this morning and have been forewarned that if he is small then I'll have to be induced, I was wondering have any other ladies here had a baby that appears to have shrunk or is it probably just he's dropped down really low? Hardly been able to sleep because I'm mithering, shouldn't it have been picked up on before this if he's not growing properly?

Do not worry, without a scan it's hard to tell how big the baby is. I had my little girl when I was 34 weeks pregnant and apparently she stopped growing when is was 28 weeks. She was born heathy and is now 3 yo.

@bearose, as samspumkin says above i wouldnt worry i measure nearly 3 weeks behind each time in regards to bump but soon as have scan they measure every bone ect and shes measuring perfect. shes just really curled up. xx

Try not to worry @bearose I had this too and had to get steriods etc to prepare me for baby arriving early then at next scan it showed baby is growing as he should! Can I ask how did the midwife measure you? was it with the tape measure? xx

They sent me for a growth scan on Thursday because Midwide thought baby felt small and bump measured a bit behind my dates but scan showed all was fine so he must of just been in a funny position so try not to worry too much Hun x

Thank you all for the reassurance, he is fine on the scan 6lb 4oz already, he's dropped quite a lot and is curled up which is why I only measured 33 yesterday, so relieved, he can be left to come naturally now ❤ xxx
