I'm glad you went in! infections down there can cause contractions and even bring on early labor! I went in after days of back pain, cramps, and it turns out I was contracting a ton! (had no idea though). I had BV so they gave me antibiotics so I'm fine now but I had no idea! they told me if I waited longer, I would have eventually went into early preterm labor and they wouldn't be able to stop it :/
