A little boy died from a bacterial infection, basically it's like meningitis. The bacteria can be found in formula, enfamil tested the batch and it came back negative. @ash1614

people are saying breastmilk is best?

I'm choosing to formula feed. As long as baby is fed, it shouldn't matter if it's through breast or formula. Everybody has their own reasoning as to why they do things the way they do.

I think this is your perception of the conversation... I haven't seen anyone bash formula feeding moms at all

What I got from the formula thing was any baby 3 months and under should not be on the powder form because IF (and that's a big if) the bacteria is present its too hard on their little bodies and they can't fight it like babies 4 months and up. Also in all reality it could happen to any brand. It sucks what happened to that baby but if that's the only thing your son can actually eat (same for my daughter when she was on formula) everyone has an opinion on everything when it comes to parenting. You do what's best for you and your baby!

well I think it's their opinion but I don't see it as a direct bash towards formula feeding moms ... just like your opinion fed is best @vb95 I wouldn't take it personal ... you obviously do what's best for you and your family and that's all that matters at the end of the day

I've seen it too, smh as long as baby is fed that's all that matters. Im using enfamil and never had a problem. @vb95
