So my hospital works an 8am-8pm open hours and if I'm in labour ect I have to ring the on call midwife. And depending on how she assesses me she would come to mine to check me first or meet me at the hospital, my contractions are starting to be on average every ten mins.. When would you say to call her?

That's good I didn't realise it was your second baby yeah if it gets too much go in Hun x good luck hopefully when I check in the morning u will be holding a baby xx

I agree with @suzie80 call her then u know what u need to do and when, im in same situation here no maternity hospital for 40 miles and only day care is open 8-5, x
Right I rang and she said if I feel I can't take the pain anymore or when it gets to around 5mins apart or if my waters break to ring her and she'll go straight in as its my second baby x@suzie80 @holliesinead
Give her a call and get a plan in place before it's too late then Hun. Won't hurt before it's really late and they just take off really close together
I'm just panicking slightly as there's no one in the maternity unit so midwife would need to travel, to meet me there I might ring her and just ask when I should contact her 😂 I'm struggling with pain I can't talk through it I'm squeezing mikes hand and just coping not to cry @suzie80 @holliesinead xx
3 in ten Hun at least. Or as @holliesinead when u are finding u can't talk through them but there very strong and regular and closer. This early stage can go on for a long time. When they are getting much closer call them. By the time@u have three in ten u will want to be seen lol
They say when your getting 3 every 10 mins I think xx
