19 wks and having sharp jabbing pains in my perineal area (groin/crotch) should this be something I call the doctor about or is it nothing to be seriously worried about? Have an appointment in 8 days.

@teniera, I've been reading some forums and everyone describes baby kicks as flutters or twinges and spasms very few have said like little electric shocks and thinking about it it doesn't have the feeling like if I was to habmve a tens unit (nerve stimulations through electrotrodes) hooked up down there. If that is my baby kicking I'm in for it for the next few months, bout made me pee myself yesterday when I first felt it. But your right it does make me want to ask but I don't want to make an extra trip considering I see the specialist on the 8th and my ob on the 12th. I'll at least call in the morning tomorrow considering its not really painful its rather distracting especially when driving like I was.
also I had pre eclampsia and placenta previa with my first and that was 16+yrs ago.
I've already had the stretchy crampy pains and this isn't the same. It feels like I'm being kicked like when a man is racked but not long lasting or radiating its like a swift ting of sharp pain. I didn't feel my first son kick ever just the swishy swooshy feeling when he turned around so I have no clue what its like to feel a baby kick from the inside.
It's normal. It's round ligament pain and will happen for the rest of the pregnancy
happened to yest while driving home from work it really is a strange sensation but. this is my 3rd pregnancy with a boy and never had it until now felt like spasms in my vagina. ..I can feel him move often once I lay down no kicks yet but,yesterday was a new sensitive sensation there caught me off guard.I m 20 wks tomorrow
