need opinions: oldest turns 5 oct 13 middle turns 3 sept 1. 5 wants hulk 3 wants tonka trucks (themes) for weeks know weve been talking of once n only having their parties separate. 3 at church 5 at party zone. now hubby tells me for monetary reasons we hafta have em together. would you have em together and if so how would you go about the decorations etc

First of all its so weird I have a daughter who will be 1 sept 1 & a son who will be 6 October 15 lol. I've always said I would never do my kids parties together just because that is their own special day. But this year I considered doing my kids together (I'm not but thought about it) but I would just maybe try to combine both their wants together. Or if anything do their own separate cake with their own theme that they picked. It's hard when birthdays are close together..

yea weve unfortunately always done them together for money reasons. but each one gets their own theme and cake

and its always halfway between. then on their actual birthday they each get to pick where we go out to dinner and I bake them a special cake

I just did my 6 year old and 2 year olds birthdays combined bc they are a month and a day apart plus with a couple other birthdays in the same month as my oldest I decided to just do them together and eliminate extra driving for family. My oldest had Monster High, my toddler had Doc McStuffins...I bought all decorations and cake Monster High since she's older and I bought Doc McStuffins cake plates and goodie bags for my toddler...the colors worked together then bought them they own themed and big balloon. That's how I did it, my toddler didn't know the difference she just had a ball.
