I've been trying my hardest to breastfeed my daughter but it's really starting to get painful I read online that most of your areole should be in baby's mouth but my daughter mouth is so small it seems impossible 😢😕

Same here! She starting to prefer the formula over breastmilk. She can drink 4oz of formula and 3oz of breastmilk. I don't know what to do.

if u consult ur dr or the pediatrician they should be able to help u by showing u techniques to make baby open wider for the best latch. i hope it gets better for you

@mommy99630, yes like my daughter only feeds from my nipple and none of my areola at all every feeding is getting painful 😫

If she's sucking just in the nipple, she's not even drinking as much milk as she should. That's just pure pain for you
