Hey ladies do y'all recommend nipple shields?

the day that my milk came in I got so swollen that he couldn't latch on. we had to use one the first couple of days and I seriously wouldn't have been able to feed him without it. I would definitely get one just in case.

they actually hurt me worse. I just suffered thru the pain without it bc it did not help at all

I used the medela ones. I've never used any other brand.
