Any first time mommies who were induced?
Would you mind sharing your experience? I get induced today at midnight,I'm very very nervous😣
It wasn't bad. I was just uncomfortable more so because of my high BP. Towards the end the nurse kept coming in because the baby's heartbeat was going faint. After that they didn't want to take any chances. Took like 20 minutes from when they told me her heartbeat was faint for them to prep me for c section. I had a WONDERFUL team of nurses, surgeons, and doctors. It was scary because I didn't want one, but they definitely made me feel much more comfortable.
So true, every woman's body is different (: @mommaofginger
@ysalais, I was induced at 41 weeks with pitocin infusing. Labored for 32 hours and was only 1cm. Had a caesarean after all. Good luck.
Sometimes they can tell if you are to small, my mom was told she had 50/50 chance by her first doctor and then she changed for the rest of us kids and he said that she had no way of going natural she was just to small. Since mine haven't even gone past 6lbs 6oz they don't know my sister was able to have her first naturally at 7 lbs 6oz but her son was 8lbs 3oz and was just to big for the lower cervix. But I have seen small girls push out 10 lbs babies@ysalais
I ended up having to have a c section because she was being so stubborn 😕 25 hours of labor and I was only 3 centimeters dilated 😔
Thank you💕 I do have a small body but I'm not quite sure if he may be too big for me. My doctor didn't mention anything.😥 @mommaofginger
Oh man it would be mine too,I tend to freak out real quick 😣 @averysmom8_3_16
Just be prepared for a long time just so you are ready for it if it happens, even this last time my doctor was saying you know it could take a long time and because you are having a bigger baby than your first and you are small you could end up with a c section. which I knew because my mom couldn't have any kids natural and 4 days before my induction my older sister's induction ended in a c section because her son was to big for her. so just be prepared for anything to happen and hope for the best. hopefully everything goes smoothly and fast for you@ysalais
yeah i never imagined i would end up going c-section @ysalais I cried it was my first major surgery ever
Mine was extremely easy I was in labor for 4 1/2 hours.
I'm praying that c-section isn't an option,but I live my delivery in Gods Hands!💕 @averysmom8_3_16
i was induced Wednesday. i was only 1 cm and they put a Foley balloon to manually dilate me over night. Very uncomfortable. and it did nothing by morning. so they started pitocin. my mom told me to push like im.pushing out a fart whenever I had a contraction to help dilate me faster and it worked. they checked me again I was at a 3 and the contractions were coming too close together and baby wasnt ready and i ended up with a c-section.
Wow. That's what I've been told as well,I was told that I'm looking at 16-20 hours in labor😳 Hopefully my body cooperates and gets he process done faster. @mommaofginger
and I was at an 8 around 3pm my water broke and 3:27 my daughter was born. so in almost 8 hours I had my daughter when we were planning on being in labor all day because of what everyone was saying to me being a first time mom and young. My body just does really well with pitocin compared to others because I cut my time in half being induced the second time around
I was induced with both of my kids but with my first I went in at 7am the day I turned 37 weeks because she stopped growing. at 0730 my doctor came in and checked me to see what they would do to start my induction. I was 80?faced so I got put on pitocin and didn't need the pill inserted into my cervix. my doctor had to go back to his office across the street and said he would check me at his lunch time, but by 1pm I couldn't take the pain so I got an epidural and when they put in my catheter she check me
That's crazy! I'm barely going to be 39 weeks tomorrow that's why they won't let me be induced till pass midnight today(: @mommy.of.sophia.navay
i was induced at 42weeks. it wasnt bad like alot of people say i got there at 6am they inserted the pill into my cervix at like 830 i walked and by 12 i started having contractions got something in my iv that took some pain away but made me feel drunk then got the epidural at like 3 or so and my baby was born at 5pm
I was induced at 38w2d because of high BP and protein in my urine.

Is this the one yall drink to induce??? I'm desperate
