Question: in the hospital, is it a good idea to send the baby to the nursery while you sleep at night instead of have baby in your room?!?!
My biggest fear is them mixing up my child with another lol!
My friend said she did this & it was nice because she got much needed sleep in the hospital, but when she got home she found it to be kind of a shock because she wasn't use to it.
Thoughts?!
Well the hospital I was in, was very big and a popular hospital, they took away the nursery because that is the first bonding moments with mom and baby :) plus I'll never trust anyone with my baby that I don't know, anytime they had to take my first I wouldn't allow it untill my husband was able to go with them. I was also told that alot of hospitals no longer have the nursery option
@indigenousmommy, yep I'm right there with you on that one!! 🙌🏻
Heck no my baby isn't hanging out in a nursery if I can help it. I'm just protective. You put baby at risk of getting more foreign germs and illnesses. Baby will be right next to me til we leave the hospital. Just my opinion.
It's safe .. I've never done it but my friends all have .. It's all a preference of choice
If you can't send her to the nursery, make sure you have someone on hand to cuddle her while you rest. My hospital had us room in so my husband and aunt were with baby while I rested a little. =)
My hospital doesn't even offer that as an option anymore since they think the baby should remain with the parents. Plus you will have nurses in and out of the room to help during the night. If your hospital offers it and you need it, do it!
I dos it for both of my kids. I knew that my nights weren't ever going to be the same so I decided to get night sleep.
I didn't send my son to the nursery ever. They only time he was in there was when they were tube feeding him. I wouldn't let them take him plus the hospital I was at promoted mommy baby bonding heavily. You might as well get used to it because it will be a shock once you get home. Even for the ones who do keep the babies with them it's still a huge transition. It will just make it a bit easier I think.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

My sweet baby girl gained her angel wings this morning. She was my best friend, my true love my everything. She was so happy and beautiful, I'm struggling to say good bye. Sleep tight princess, mummy and daddy love you very very much ❤️
No!! I couldn't leave him in the nursery by himself with strangers . When he did go to the nursery, I'd outside and watch until they were done doing what they were doing. I could barely sleep knowing my baby was away from me!
