Why do women get scheduled for an induction without any health issues or without being overdue?
I'm being induced at 39 weeks because my baby is measuring too big for my frame and I have a hernia same reasons I was induced with my daughter
I didn't have any plans being induced tonight until I went to my appointment and my fluids was low. :(
A lot of times doctors force things on us. Saying that it has to be done blah blah blah that's why it good to ask around and get educated so you don't ever feel forced into something
I am going to be induced because of my baby's two holes in his heart. And he may have complications from his heart. And he was tested for Down's syndrome s d it says he is
Wondering the same thing... Induction wasn't even on our minds with our son & my husband was deploying before my due date
@madisynmommie, I scheduled an induction at 39 weeks, so that I could be tested for thyroid cancer!! Their are many reasons people do it, for some it's a need and others it's just a want!!!
Personal reasons usually, I might consider it because my husband and family will be out and leave before his due date so I might get induced so they can be there. But I also might not because I don't want to force him out, I'm still debating
It's so they can have their babies usually around theirs or their husbands schedules
It's called an elective induction. I just learned about this in the movie The Business of Being Born on Netflix
I'm being induced at 39 weeks for polyhydramnios
