I wanted to know from Mom's who are exclusively breastfeeding their kids if it hurts when they have teeth?? I'm so scared to continue breastfeeding her when she has teeth. I don't want my poor nipples to be shredded. She already has a bottom tooth coming in.
The kids sure seem to do strange things when nursing when they get older lol. I hope everything goes well for you at the doctors too and that you have a quick recovery. @tristan-makes-5
@azmommy85, my son growels pushes his face into my boob while chomping down pulls off and on and sometimes shakes his head. He also won't let go sometimes also and its making me really sore also. i was thinking of trying to get him to use a bottle for when he gets teeth but also because i am going to have a MRI done on my back and may need surgery so he's going to have no choice but take one for daddy.
@becca2mommy, it gets easier once they get the hang of latching on correctly. Just the whole teething part sucks and then wondering what to do once they get teeth lol
Yeah my nipples have been very sore with her chomping and pulling off and latching back on and pulling off again. I'm like seriously kid how is that funny to stretch it and chomp down. I don't want her to do it with teeth. It makes me wonder if I should try pumping if I ever have the time or just switch to formula once her teeth start erupting from her gums @tristan-makes-5
im the same way he already bites down with no teeth and it hurts im afraid when he gets teeth@azmommy85
I don't know , but I can't even imagine! My little one tears my nipples already and she's only 1 month
I've tried bottle feeding and she screams and hates it. I've always just latched her on these past 6 months. No bottle or anything. So I'm guessing they use you as a teething toy. Dang! I'm wondering if maybe I can get her on a sippy cup and pump then. @jesjes
girllllll it hurttttt😢 I breastfeed my oldest for 11months and those litto teeth hurt, I would just tell him noo but still it didn't work, you can always pump and bottle feed him!! @azmommy85
I can't take it anymore! Haley (yes my 1mth old and no I wasn't able to go through this "joy" of nursing my older daughter, Molly) has been screaming non stop for 6hrs! All she wants to do is eat and I can't have her attached to me all day, everyday! She has wanted to eat every hr on the hr for the past 3hrs! I put her in her room so I don't scream at her but I just can't take it!
Mother rant
I want to start off this rant with: I love my mom, she is amazing and has helped so much since ds was born and she will be an even bigger help when ds2 is born.

My August baby decided she wanted to be a May baby like her big sister. Madison Noelle was born on Tuesday, May 24 at 3:50pm, weighing 2lbs, 13oz and 14". She was born at 27 weeks and has a long road ahead of her. Every day she has been getting stronger and amazing everyone. Please keep us in your prayers, my family and I have a long road ahead of us. Congratulations to everyone and I wish you all wonderful pregnancies and deliveries! ??❤️

I hate doing this to her but I really don't want her to suck her fingers. She sucks the middle and index finger. She refuses any pacifier I give her. She already has one tooth at the bottom and I don't want her to be sucking them when the top ones come in. The doctor said it's a phase and it'll pass but I'm afraid she won't and spoil her teeth. Did any of your kids just stopped by themselves or did you have to do this?
@azmommy85, thank you
