I don't know if I should get a infant car seat or a convertible car seat.

@sarinunez, no cause I want both lol. I think the first few weeks we'll use the infant car seat and especially on cold days too. But also depends if I have a big baby or small. It's so complicated lol well I make it more complicated then it actually is
@cubanese, I have a baby wrap from my daughter so maybe I can use that. I was big on baby wearing with my first and plan to wear this baby too. So I can use that
Have you thought about just getting another base for the other car? My car is the family car, my boyfriend had a two door sports car so our baby won't be in there lol.

I only have both cause my travel set came with the infant one.
@cubanese, exactly ! We barely used my daughters infant car seat it was a back up most of the time but we mainly used her convertible car seat. My only concern is in the winter when taking her out the car the infant car seat would keep her warm cause I can carry her out in it. But I can't carry her out in the convertible. I may just get both lol

At the amount of seats that come into seat checks totally wrong. I did roughly 30 checks today and only 4 were right! Lots of babies are now safer in the car!

So I got rid of my spacious Chevy Impala and now have a compact Hyundai Elantra. I’m trying to figure out which car seat would fit best in a smaller car.?? The car seat will go behind the passenger so there will be a little more room to move the front seat up.
I got a car seat from a friend and a stroller online the carseat fits in the stroller but the shade won't close :( get a smaller car seat or keep it ?
I am so incredibly grateful for my best friend. Last night she and I were in a car accident. I was driving and we got hit by a student driver. My car is totaled, I had to come out of pocket for a rental car. Both of my kids car seats were in the car and I’ve been stressing on how to buy new seats for them, she just told me that her and her husband bought us new car seats. I can’t stop crying.
i got both. the infant seat was a gift at my shower, a travel system. I love that it locks into the stroller and we have 2 bases. one for hubs car and one for mine. we bought his convertible carseat on Amazon prime day for a steal! regular 240 plus shipping. paid 120 free shipping. he can be in either seat but we plan to use his infant seat until he outgrows it. its easy to buckle him up in the house then carry him to the car. plus he usually falls asleep in the car so it makes shopping trips easy rather than picking him up out of a convertible seat and waking him.
