So my daughter is getting baptized on Sunday. We have people coming over afterwards. I have plenty of food and a cake. We aren't struggling with money but we don't like to spend when not needed. So I was wondering would it be off not to have decorations? Like cross tableware? And hanging decorations or do you think it is all family and friends no one would notice if they are eating off a regular paper plate? Thoughts please. I looked at the dollar store and they didn't have any decorations. So the only place would be party city and that place is pricey for decorations. Thank you in advance!
Thanks. Yes it is at a church and people are coming over for food. It isn't like it is her birthday. So I don't feel too bad about it. @2ndchancemommy
im not exactly sure how baptizing works, but im going to assume (correct me if im wrong) itll take place at the church and then family will go over to your place? if thats the case, im sure itll be fine to not have decorations! i wouldnt waste money on decorations if its just going to be something small like a gathering since theyll go in the garbage at the end. Regular paper plates are fine girl!
@2ndchancemommy, thank you
