The best advice so far for labour would be if you are in any sort of pain then question what pain relief you can have! Since having the diomorphine injection I have felt so relaxed, felt some tiny discomfort but it's amazing! Still being monitored as the monitor isn't picking up movement but once that has done I will be able to get some sleep :)
I mostly had gas and air, I did have I injection of diamorphine and it was like heaven and when I wanted some more they said I wasn't far enough dialated then turns out I was too far dilated and it was a waste so finished off with gas and air but I would definitely recommend that diamorphine I loved it! xx

I had pethidine and was still in agony... Gas and air helped me more than anything xx

I'm not dialated yet so only had the diomorphine injection because I was in a lot of pain @mrsschmalz I will however be having an epidural when the time comes xxx
So threw up the brew but still having some contractions. I suppose it will help dilation. Sigh so I guess my appointment for Friday to get monitoring is still on . I hope my fluids stay consistent.
I've been seeing so many negative posts/comments (not on this app as much but on a lot of others) and I just felt the need to put something positive out there. I'm a graphic designer and some of you may have seen this graphic before that I made with my baby girls first and middle name. I got a decent amount of good feedback from it so I figured I'd share my talent and make some for you guys! So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.

The only thing that helped me was the epidural and I had to have 2 top ups 😳
