Would 26 weeks be a good time for a 3D/4d? My doctor doesn't do them so I have to make my pen appointment. I'm 21 weeks…

yes!! 4D :) you'll be able to see the baby's features now

depends what kind of picture u are looking for there r 3 stages.

stage 1 is full body stage 2 is half body and stage 3 is just face I waited till 3q weeks to go for my ultrasound and this is how my boy looked

sorry at 26 weeks will be perfect. 21 too but I'd rather wait a few more weeks :)

They do it around 3rd trimester that's when I would suggest most insurances don't cover it but I would deff wait till 3rd trimester

@carsonsmommy2k16, was he head down already? Some people say that it's harder to get a picture when they're head down & I don't want to wait too long

@novaskyy, my doctor doesn't do it, the place I'd go to starts doing them at 14 weeks though.

at 14 weeks it's a 2D . that's only for gender I did mine at 14 weeks. for the gender they said for 3D/ 4D it has to be at 20 weeks to be able to see features

@vanessarazo, not the place I go to, it only does 4d ultrasounds there, starting at 14 weeks.

yes @ainsleighsmumma he has been head down for a while and he was head down at my ultrasound and I got amazing pictures

@novaskyy, well I wouldn't do it until 26 weeks which is only a week before my 3rd trimester. I'm 21 right now, I was just asking because I have to call a month in advance for an appointment because they're so busy & it's in the next town over.

Awesome I never knew they did it at 14 weeks my doctor (which I'm going to school for) told me third trimester

But yeah that would be fine it's always mommys preference I don't see anything wrong with it

@novaskyy, doctors generally will not do 3D ones that early, most of the time to get one done that early you have to see a specialist or go to a 3D ultrasound clinic.
