That's a long time. Have you tried giving her some sunlight? That helps. But 6 weeks seems long to me. I would call the pediatrician and ask if it's okay if not take her to the ER.

I take her out in the sun everyday and I've been letting her nurse often. She has an appointment in 2 weeks and since her doctor didn't mention how yellow she was at her last appointment I didn't think it was a big deal. I was looking online and I saw something saying it could last to 12 weeks @guaderrama_babies2

If her jaundice levels were low when she left the hospital then she should be okay. My daughter was born with it too and ended up having to go back to the hospital to be treated for it. The yellow in the skin and eyes last for a while. You can call and ask what her jaundice levels were when she left the hospital and if they are blow 12 she will be just fine. Just keep breastfeeding and letting her sleep in front of a window. That's how I did it. 😊

My son was very jaundice, even the white of his eyes turned yellow. Put him in front of the window so he gets more sun. Just be careful he doesn't get over heated. The more he poops and pee's the better. I had to give some formula, so that he would pee more. You can always call the pediatrician office for a same day sick appointment. It takes only a few seconds for them to check his level. Hope your baby feels better soon!
