Advice please : my waters have been leaking since 1:30am this morning and now I've been advised to go in at 12am In the morning which is 24hours does anyone know what's going to happen?xx
Don't worry Hun I was so upset when I didn't go into labour naturally after my waters went I was planning a water birth and to have no pain relief so@I was devastated and felt like I was failing him because my body wouldn't do what it was meant o but as soon as you have them in your arms you forget all about it xxx
@cayleighnatasha, @holliesinead thank you both honestly the whole thing scares me you've made me feel better about it I feel like my body is letting me down xx
If it gets to bad just go in or call up they may get you in earlier I never had any pains so had to wait the whole 24 hours before I went you may be in labour and not know xx
don't worry about it hun take all the drugs you can and you'll be absolutely fine! your little boy will be in your arms before you know it. every inch of pain is so worth it in the end my lovely xx
@cayleighnatasha, @holliesinead I'm so scared but im in so much pain at the moment and have been for 3days now I can't take no more I'm tired got to wait 6 hours x
definitely take an epidural if you're put on a hormone drip no one understand how bloody painful it is with that drip useless you've had it. it is just like @holliesinead said so painful with that drip. once you have epidural it's much better lol. wishing you best of luck so excited to see pictures of your little one!!! xxx
Defo take the epidural than Hun I never in a million years considered it or wanted to but once I had it I didn't feel a single thing I slept the entire time until I had to push I didn't even feel myself pushing it was best choice I made because I was starting to distress baby because I was in so much pain and freaking out xx
This happened to me my waters went and I had to be is induced 24 hours later as I never went into labour- they'll send you to delivery suite I assume check you over if your dilated and your cervix is ready you'll be put on the hormone drip believe me when I say it's not pleasant it's very painful and it's not natural take all the pain relief you can before it starts because your body doesn't know how to deal with it I didn't know this until after I took the epidural after being in pain like you wouldn't believe, if your cervix isn't ready and your not dilated they'll insert gel which will get your cervix ready then you will be put on the drip I never had that so I'm unsure what that is like but you will not be able to go through an induction process without pain relief so take it as early as possible! The cannula was the most painful thing I found it hurt like a bitch so be prepared for that! Sorry if I scared you Hun but after I had the pain relief I had a really good calm labour which only last 10 hours and only pushed for 40 mins xx
