my son is 6 weeks old. im trying to pump a supply for work. i pumped after he ate & got 2.5 oz from my left boob and less than an ounce from my right. a little over 3 oz... is this a bad sign?

Ladies I called my insurance about breast pump and they said with their insurance in order to get a pump I get a prescription from doctor then I call 3 different numbers to see what my insurance covers but the only thing is I have to wait til baby is born to call and get pump so I want to at least buy a hand pump which do you ladies recommend for hand pump and when I can get a pump from insurance please n thank you 💖💖

What kind of bottle are they in? I tried the mothers milk tea but the taste made me sick. I need to find something that works. @_iamrae

@britt16, yes! They worked 2 days later. I noticed a big increase. Now I no longer use them bc I'm producing enough

that is actually really amazing especially after a feeding. the average pump gets you 2 to 3 oz.

it seems like he gets enough toneat from my breast though so i dont understand.

Exactly what happens to me. && I want to get a job but can't if I can't pump enough. Did the fenugreek pills actually help? @_iamrae

You may just need to take something to increase your supply. I started taking fenugreek pills & every time I pumped...I would pump one boob while letting my baby nurse on the other.
