as your baby gets a little stronger, holding his head up and straightening his spine will help him burp. @kaela3 I've also layed my babies across my legs to put more pressure on their tummy and rub their back. try and work the bubbles up. then sit them up and try burping again.

exactly @mimiz I've never had luck with over the shoulder burping. they're too comfy that way. lol. I tend to try and piss my babies off (try and wake them up) so when they squirm they burp. lol!! @kaela3

@kaela3, yep and then if they don't, they don't sleep well and puke everywhere when they wake up. the struggle is real! lol

I always sat my kids on my lap and hunched them over with my hand on their chest/chin and rubbed their backs. my 3rd kid was very stubborn and didn't burp all the time. but that's because he ended up having acid reflux.
