lord jesus so i went to the doctor for my regular checkups and i asked about my last appt about the false positive i got for marijuana and i was scared that CPS was gonna get involved and take my baby away but after the research he did turns out the morphine they had given days before gave it a false reading but everything turned out great the worse that could happen is a social worker will talk to me to check my history to see if i ever had drug abuse but thank god im clean and now i have nothing to worry about lord jesus

I wonder if the code is the same here in AZ then in Cali. It's legal here in AZ for medical use too but you have to have a medical Marijuana card or its considered illegal use @mommytoabel
@lovelymommylumps, the penal code is different in California since it is legalized for medical use here. They have to have other reasons.
I would've been a nervous wreck too. I guess they just look for reasons to take your kids away in some states
@mommytoabel, i know its funny cause my doctor started laughing when i told him that lol ...@lovelymommylumps, well my doctor said they dont get involved unless they wouldve found opiates or other types of drugs in my system ..but since my past medical have beem clean he said i have nothing to worry about they might talk to me but thats it
I'm not 100% on the law in California but I know in Arizona or Michigan if they find Marijuana in your system they can take your children and that's all they would need to do it.
@mommytoabel, my problem was that i googled stuff on the internet and read that some girls do get their kids taken away ..but i still have my conscious clean but thats still great news to hear i really should stop googling stuff lol
CPS cannot take your child just for marijuana (even if you had done it). The penal code for California requires that there be other proof of an unsafe environment (ex: other drug users, abuse, neglect). I smoked everyday for medical reasons until I found out I was pregnant. I was so scared that it would show up and they would take my baby. My OB never mentioned anything to me.
