Starting to get quite worried about my oldest daughter when my little boy is born. I've got 9 weeks left and my daughter is already showing serious signs of jealously. I know this is normal but I'm starting to feel anxious that I'll not be able to bond with my son properly because my daughter will be jealous and will play up & I'll end up feeling guilty. Anyone have any advice?

my daughter was like with her brother, theres 8 year between them and until he come along shed been my only child. it helps loads if you let her help with the baby like we let skye get involved in bathing him and helping put nappies on and so on and she totally changed she loved helping out and cuddling him hes 3 now and she 11 and there so close

I am having the same worries, a few weeks ago my daughter was really acting up but I've been trying to include her each step of the way and also getting her a little something whenever we buys baby's clothes etc. E.g when I had my baby shower, because I knew baby would be getting gifts I got her a lovely outfit to wear & MIL bought a nice top and leggings to unwrap after I opened baby's gifts so she felt included x

im exactly same but in reagrds to my son. he is 11 nearly 12. xx
