So the only way me and my SO could get food stamps was to have my mom on it as well, with her info, since we're under 22 and don't live on our own. After FOUR months now, she finally decided to do that for us. We got them a couple of days ago. I go today to get the card from her so we can get some things for work and to snack on. She hesitates on giving me the card, then is noisy asking what all am I buying, then while we are at the store she texts me saying "don't buy the store we have no room". So I ignore it, we get home put our food up and write our names on what is ours. (If we don't it will be gone) We go to our room and she's in there looking at all what we bought, then asks for the card back. IM the only reason we have that damn card, and I had to BEG you to help me get it. Now you want to be over protective about it??? Not my problem YOUR 30 year old son still lives at home, don't buy his own stuff, and free loads off of the ones who don't have barely anything and is gone for a week at a time then come homes and eats EVERYTHING, while he makes $1000+ A WEEK!! Like this is ridiculous!

That's crazy that only applies here if you are under 18 and don't have a child. Once you have a child you no longer need the parent.

Ugh I wish! @surprise4 Here you have to be either 22, or living on your own. But really all she could've done was put 2 bills in my name and we could've got them on our own. @babykamya2016 Exactly! He's just a free loader..

Nope. That's what my bf was saying. "She wanna bitch at the one who basically got the food stamps and is bringing in something, rather then the one who has money, not paying for nothing and eating everything." Like it's sad. We literally have to hide out food from him😒@babykamya2016

She wouldn't write them a letter stating we did. Everything had to be done her way and we knew this shit was going to happen. @delilahmarie

Here we just have to have who we are living with write a statement saying that we live there but we provide our own food. (But sounds like it would be hard to even get her to do that if they asked..) I would tell her you canceled it but don't lol.

Omg I'd be so pissed I'm glad my mother in law didnt do that when we lived with her. She just wrote the paper and asked for stuff when she wanted something for herself be wasn't anything crazy... she still asks for crab legs and we don't even live with her anymore 😂
