I ran into a lady at this little boutique today. Her story was very sad and very touching. her husband has been disgnosed with a rare form of leukemia. they both had to stop working because she had to take care of him and their 6 yr old. they have been denied medical insurance and Medicaid. If he doesn't undergo the million dollar bone marrow transplant then he will most likely loose his battle. The hospital called and told them that unless they get insurance they will have to give a 600,000 downpayment. The insurance companies have made it impossible for them to afford the deductibles and monthly rates. what is wrong with our country and the medical insurance system! I wished with every bone in my body that there was something I could do to help but I feel like being there for this woman to talk to was exactly why god sent me into the boutique. Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers ladies.
