During pregnancy, why do we get that brown line going from our belly button up and then down? I know it's normal, I'm just curious 🤔 mines coming in again haha, sorry for the ugly stomach..

I didn't have one with my first or this one. didn't think I was white enough to not have one lol
Old wives tale (not true to my knowledge) supposeably once the line reaches the top (under your breast) your suppose to go in labor lol
I've looked it up and it just says hormones and the darker you are the darker it can get. Same hormones that make the nipples big and dark too. It goes away a few months after baby.
