got my first dose of cervidil last night at 1030. after 12 hrs my cervix has not soften yet. so i will get another dose. the contractions were so horrible and it felt like one continuous painful contraction. i didn't think i was going to last another 12 hrs of that. so i gave in and got the epidural. not what i wanted, but i could barely think from all the pain. so, my baby might be here tomorrow. 😥
@momtobe0716, it's so uncomfortable when they put it in. and worse when they check you after its been in for a while. my mom said had i gone to labor naturally, i would've been able to put up with the pain. but, it was too intense and the contractions to close together. 24 hrs of this, i just couldn't make it. i hope it goes well for you, and the first dose works. good luck!
Well that didn't work for me so then they put a balloon in to make me dilate
@constancetinople, that's my fear I go in at 5 tonight to start the cervadil. I am 70% effaced and maybe a finger tip dilated . I'm so nervous it's going to hurt going in and not do anything
Tell them to give you pitocin that stupid pill doesn't work fast enough
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.
So I keep feeling these lil sharp pains on my right side. You do get pains like that before you start your period right.? Remember I had that dark brown spotting for a few hours last month on the 22. My period suppose to start today.
Having some pretty intense constant lower back pain and maybe super light contractions. But can't tell because the back pain is way over powering contractions so I'm walking around my room to see if they get worse.
I think this will be my LAST baby. My boyfriend is up there in age 🤷🏽♀️
Another post got me thinking... Do you think your child's name is unique?!
By unique I mean shared by almost no-one else
@eryka616, I'm guessing that's what they will do. idk why they even bother with the vervidil then, i doubt this secobd dose is working :/
