2 weeks ago I found out my son has eczema. His doctor prescribed him a mild steroid cream and said the use it for a week and then stop using it for a week. he hadn't seems to have any problems for a week and a half. on Thursday I noticed a concerning rash, but it subsided after a day and a bath. Sunday I noticed rash seemed to be coming back but it look like his skin was peeling(almost like that of a sunburn) he was very flaky. When I put lotion on him go keep his skin moisturized he screams and cries for a good 10 minutes. So being a first time mom I call his doctor hoping she would want to see him. But no... Now I'm sitting here trying to decide if its bad enough to go to the ER or or call the on call nurse at his pediatrician office to get him an appointment.. Any momma's seen something like this before??

I'm waiting for a call back from the triage nurse! I'm so impatient 😭 he acts just like his normal self but I am still very worried. @cheylee

You're welcome! Keep me updated! My poor girl has eczema too and our doctor prescribed us a special lotion.

Poor baby! Try calling to on call nurse and ask if you can email them a photo of the rash. I've been able to do that before.
