Came home at 5 and been having contractions since my doctors appointment. Thinking should I start timing them ?

my Dr told me if I couldn't time them them go by how intense the pain is, if it becomes unbearable chances are you are in labor

if it is between 5 and 8min then I would say it's the start of labor...
