Could be the case if you ovulated layer than normal. Maybe give 3 more days and try again with fmu
I'm 10 day's late I'm always regular and i tested this afternoon and it was negative so maybe i tested to soon @halibug
From the day of your missed period onwards. There are tests that claim to be able to test 5 days early but the accuracy goes down and they are still most accurate on the day of missed period onwards. Hope this helps!
