Ahh Thankyou Hun! @saraelisa we own this property yeah, both me and the neighbours do. It says it's a private drive but they still park here. It's the fact that they willingly parked outside mine knowing its obviously for my house. My neighbours have had the issue before, people park over the path to get into our drive. We called the police tonight, they came and assessed the situation. They said the same as you, as there's a sign they're breaking the law. The police managed to get them to move, they said if they do it again action will be taken.

Me and neighbours were on about going halves on a gate if this carries on. Xxx

I have this all the time, people over the road take two car spaces to park one car leaving the disabled lady (who's space they've taken) to park far from her house it's really inconsiderate, and they've been told before. Take it easy it's hard but try not to retaliate because in future they could make your life a little harder and retaliate back. So what I would say is take a nice deep breath, if they've done it many times before take photos as evidence to prove what they're doing, if you're renting a property then go to the estate agent. It's so upsetting I know, if you own the space leave several notes (but it seems you've spoken to them before about it), so get a sign for illegal parking with a fine '£75 charge/fee release' in future you can get their car clamped if there's already a sign, perhaps gather some neighbours nearby to support your cause to complain. So you're not alone in this. Remind them they're breaking the law. XX @skye_melissa
