ahhh that could be the problem...they mellow out dramatically and become more obedient once they're snipped... he needs to let it happen 😧

he walks all the time and has a huge backyard. @justine_kim my husband won't let me get him foxed

is he fixed(neutered)?? dogs like him need to be walked ALOT to get their energy out...i had a beautiful and fun Samoyed but he would destroy everything lol i had to eventually tire him out by walking and getting him a bigger more chill companion to even him out...so i got a St. Bernard...lol this was years ago...

@christimary0, I just don't know what to do. I have 3 dogs, my 2 year old husky and my 2, 8 month old dachshunds and those two mind better than my husky and they're a lot younger. I've had all three of them since they were 6 weeks old. They've been raised by my husband and I, I don't know what his problem is with me but he's just mean. He won't bite me but he does things to make me miserable like get in my feet and trip me or he'll run up behind me and jump and knock me down, crazy revengful things

I get so fed up with my dogs and they're little min-pin's! I'm feeling for you with a big old husky. That's gotta be rough 😔

he's extremely intelligent. This isn't my first go around with a dog. The problem is, he doesn't listen to me. No matter what I do. He doesn't listen. I can reward him or I can grab the fly swatter, he doesn't care, nothing phases him. My husband comes home he acts like a normal dog. He's chill af, he listens, he sits, he plays to a point, he eats, never goes in the kitchen, then goes to bed. With me, he gets in the trash, if I have meat sitting out to thaw he gets on the counter and eats it, he tries to make my dachshund a chew toy, he trips me, he chews on stuff, he pees on me... yes he hikes his leg and pisses on me, I swear he trips me on purpose... He's just horrible for me.

Well he may think he's the alpha then. That's another problem in itself. Do you punish him for bad behavior and praise for good? Huskys are smart, he can sense a lot more than you would think.

Dogs are hard work, especially Huskys. I had a Husky and that's just how their personality is, they need to have a big yard to play in and go for walks a lot in order for them to calm down or not get into stuff. Having a husky is like having another child, you need to keep them occupied and entertained or they will get into everything. If you guys dont have time for him it will be a never ending cycle. You could train the dog as well but it takes alot of work.
