I undetstand

don't give in to any of his crap, the best you can do is just say okay and not take his crap. my ex and I fought for years about him being a dad, he was awful at it, chose his girlfriends over his sons. even tried getting my kids to call them all mommy, not with my kids. he didn't decide to be a father figure until my kids and I moved back home. even then he was awful at Co parenting, tired to scare and bully me into things, it of course didn't work bc I would just laugh and walk away. now after he has two new kids and I have a new son he is finally Co parenting. men just have to grow up on their own you can't force them.

I was a single mom for the first year of my daughters life and I honestly just gave up and stopped contacting him because he made now effort. Now im married have twins with my husband and moved and as soon as he found out I moved on and was happy he took me to court for custody, he gets visitations but we now co parent and he has done good so far but honestly you shouldn't have to force a man to step up and be there. Id take him to court and make him start paying child support, if he isn't going to be there physically the least he can is help you financially
