I used alcohol on my son's until it looked normal and like said before it will dry and not stay wet. I did it in the am and at night time

Alcohol is good to avoid infections. Water has bacteria and if not dried fully it can cause an infection

My son dr told me I can cause there little raw thing behind to remove it

doctor told me to wait until it was completely healed after it fell off. also told me to take alcohol wipe or peroxide and wipe all the crusty part off

I wasn't sure with the crusties left behind. I won't be swabbing with alcohol though I was told there might be a little raw skin behind that could burn but thanks guys @mommy99630 @momof2prince

When my son belly button fell off I gave him bath I clean it with A swab with alcohol just to make sure it doesn't get infected!!

I gave my daughter a bath the next day, I don't see why not
