My mom and three of my sisters told me they were planning my baby shower over two months ago... well, my shower is two weeks from today and my mom just told me the only thing she has figured out is the food, which is exactly the food I told her I wanted. Nothing else. No games, no decorations, no drinks. Normally, something like that wouldn't bother me, but I hate relying on my family to actually do something for me only to be let down in the end. If I ever have another child, I'll be doing the entire baby shower myself.

I do. I must have worded it wrong. I asked her what she had planned, and she said the food (hot dogs, hamburgers, baked beans, cookout food) but that's what I told her I wanted two months ago when we started discussing plans for it. She hasn't figured out anything else in the past two months. @ssdj4
