I wanted to wait until 39 weeks but I just stopped working this Friday at 37+5 days and I'm glad I did These last few days I would Get home exhausted straight to bed after work, wake up and do it again. But everyone is different I've had such an easy pregnancy so far

I say 38 weeks. I wanted to give myself some time to relax. but my son came a week later. the way I see it , it's better to have that time with our babies after. bc it's so much harder leaving them when we go back to work

still working I plan to go all the way... i get teased at work all the time that my water is going to break there 😂😂😂

I was absolutely miserable by that time. I work retail so I'm constantly on my feet. If I could have afforded it I definitely would have started my leave early, but I couldn't afford to miss any more work than I was already going to so I stuck it out. I just asked them if I could work shorter days that I usually did and they were really good about it.

I worked until almost 39 weeks with my daughter, and I'm planning on working until my little man is born this time. I work home health with one patient all day. I also only work 14 hour shifts twice a week and a 7 hour shift on the weekend. The mom I work for always jokes about me going into labor at work lol, but I'm just trying to listen to my body... Of course if I start contracting I will stay home or let mom know so she can rush home if she needs to.

thats the thing my job is super laid back also but i jus worry that im leaving early too often and that they may try to get rid of me before i take my leave @newmommy72816

it depends on the type of job you have. mine is so laid back i come in do what i can im still full time but they give me my time for dr appts or if i just flat out dont feel good. I'll be 39 weeks Tuesday and im still at it, now the joke is they dont want my water to break bc im too stubborn to take my leave yet but i havent had anything worse than normal nausea, aches, and pains so I'll be there until I go into labor

Every women is different and so are your bodies and pain tolerance. There were plenty of times I wanted to stop working before I hit 38 weeks but my fmla company were pissing around with my paper work and never got it in.

I'm 38+4 and I just started my leave. And I was working full time and getting up at 3am everyday for work.

I just don't want to be put on bed rest if I go in today to get checked. I Been in preterm labor since 28 weeks but my doctor didn't want to put me on bed rest. @mrsnewman10511

I'm 34weeks 5 days. I'm still working 45hrs a week. I'm on my feet 9+hrs a day. but today might be the end of that.

my due date is 1 month before i meet my 1 year at this job so i cant take FMLA until after a month she's born so my job set me up with short term disability through my insurance. ill get paid for the time i leave work and up to 6-8 weeks after she's born. I'm jus wondering if its too early for me to ask to stop now or around 30-31 weeks. i dont want to keep leaving early or calling in and get fired @ajochim15 @andiryan93

I was supposed to work the night I had my daughter. I didn't want to start my maternity leave early and not be able to spend any time with her after she was born. I was miserable tho.

I had to stop working at 35 weeks because that was the 3rd time my son tried coming. So they told me to take it easy and be careful. I still ended up going 40 weeks 3 days.
