Okay so, next Saturday is my fiancé & I's 2 year anniversary and he wants to take me out to dinner . Our daughter is 11 days old . Her grandparents have offered to watch her while we're out but we'd have to leave her a bottle of milk in case she gets hungry . I am currently only breastfeeding & feel like it's too early to introduce her to the bottle . She barely got the hang of breastfeeding & i feel like she'll get confused & have problems latching after or will prefer the bottle rather than the milk ☹️ what do you mommies think? Am I just overthinking or do you think it's better to wait more time before introducing the bottle?
My Lactation consultant said to wait after two weeks to introduce a bottle. Baby can easily get Confused and want the bottle if they haven't gotten the hang of breastfeeding
I use tommy tippee I love those bottle! I give bottle and breast to my son and he does just fine! @steppphh
What bottles do you recommend ??? @jesjes @leightonscotj
I started putting my breast milk in bottles when Leighton was around that age and he took to it right away! And he still breast feeds as usual also (: hope this helps!
mamma go out and have fun, just buy a bottle that has form like the nipple!!
Exclusively breastfeeding is stressful 😫. I'm so tired all the time but I want to wait to introduce bottles...I need encouragement! This was my goal from the beginning but it's all new to me so I just have to give myself time to adjust right? 😅

HELP! My baby is a few weeks old. We had trouble with latch in the beginning and she wasn't getting enough food I had to introduce formula to clear her jaundice when she came home..was nervous about introducing the bottle because I knew it might confuse her which I think it did and now have been giving her some breast milk I pump and formula as well. Really want to get her to latch on my breast but it is not working. Any advice here??
So idk if I’m an asshole for thinking this but a girl I used to go to school with is having her 3rd kid and she’s planning a baby shower and she had one with her other two. I feel like a baby shower is something you do with ur first pregnancy. I live far from my family so I didn’t have one but i did have a baby registry and I’m not even doing that with this pregnancy. Idk I just feel like 3 baby showers is a lot! Especially when she gets things handed to her. Idk maybe I’m an ass for thinking that
When our son was 10 days old we went out to dinner. I nursed him then left immediately we ate and came back before 2 hours was up when he normally gets hungry
