Had contractions for about 3 hours ranging from 5-10 minutes now nothing but back pain and cramping. Anyone else have…

@dixon_sara, that does help! When I spoke with the midwife on call she told me every 3-5 minutes apart for an hour unless my water breaks or I have blood like a period. Since like 6:30 tonight I've had 3 contractions constant than they stop for a while then 3 and so on. So I'm just waiting now!

my midwife told me if a have more than 6 contractions an hour, I should be preparing to head to the hospital...not sure if that helps at all

Okay. I didn't think about back pain being considered possibly contractions cuz I've only experienced the tightness.

everyone's contractions are different though

mine were like a pulsating pain I didn't understand or realize that they were contractions until i was in labor and delivery for a totally different reason.

@rkline03, Oh. What do they feel like? I've only experienced the tightness in my belly and the back pain is more a constant pain but not a bad pain right now at least.

That's what I was thinking just didn't think they would stop lol :)

you can have contractions in your back and cramps can also be considered contractions as well
